Shelley Lacroix

Shelley is a member of the Canadian Federation of Artists, the West Carleton Arts Society as well as the Nepean Fine Arts League.  Her works of art have been on exhibit at the Gordon Harrison Gallery in Ottawa, Canada; the Manotick Gallery in Manotick, Canada; Plumes et Glisse in Tremblant,  Canada as well as the West Carleton Arts Society Gallery.

 

She has studied fine arts at the Ottawa School of Art and is an apprentice of Canadian renowned artist Gordon Harrison and internationally award winning artist Doris Genest.  Her signature works are marked by bright bold colour combinations.  Her works of art are represented in private collections in Europe, USA and Canada and can also be found in some Government of Canada offices.

Shelley resides in Ottawa, Canada.  She is a multi-media artist who works predominantly in oil colour on canvas and is known for her contemporary oil paintings of figurative art and Canadian landscapes.

Accomplishments

Shelley has won several People Choice Awards and placed 1st in the oil painting art category in a juried art exhibition sponsored by the Nepean Fine Arts League in Ottawa, Canada.
